I expected the jeans to be considerably heavier than a casual pair of jeans due to Armourlite denim and the reinforcement in the yoke, but they are surprisingly lightweight. The jeans come with dynamic CE Level 2 hip protectors, and there are also internal pockets for knee protectors. The armour has one of the slimmest profiles I've seen, meaning you hardly notice they are there.
